https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/sredir?uname=110358320487546510117&target...I wanted to introduce you to the new, printer-friendly version of The Morgazine, a newsletter that I will be compiling for family members who do not have a dependable connection to the Internet. The Morgazine is laid out like a newsletter, with a masthead, two columns, images, and articles of different lengths, but it is really a document which is automatically compiled. I'm using a service called Zinepal to create the newsletter. Every week, Zinepal will monitor a blog at http://themorgazine.blogspot.com and generate a newsletter whenever there are at least 10 posts available. Watch for new issues here, or watch for updates from me via Facebook.
Another key element of a family newsletter (or blog, etc.) that I've struggled with is having a way for family members to contribute stories. You can contribute stories by sending them to morganforum@posterous.com or emailing them directly to me at 32bpwr3@gmail.com.
Jennifer Beardsley shared some photos which I wanted to pass along to the rest of the family.
Things have been very quiet on the Morgan Family Facebook Community page, but I'm hoping to change that over the next few months. I originally planned on publishing a newsletter which would complement Facebook and make it easier to share news or information with members of the family who are not regular Internet users. Well, after a few months of research I've finally found a service which will make it very easy to produce such a newsletter. The newsletter will basically be a summary of everything that's posted on a blog I've set up. Those same posts will display on the Morgan Family page, so in the end it shouldn't be possible to over look news or information about the Morgans.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 32bpwr3@gmail.com. I am completely opening to posting news on behalf of other members of the family.
